Stick em up santa5/1/2023 For this culmination of our Fall Residency programs explores all things sticky, tacky, tapey and tactile. Many art materials are also expensive and not easily transported. "Accessible art takes many forms, we consider cost, availability and workability of a material. The key to their art is that it is accessible art. Access Gallery by way of a third party came across a box of our stickers and the gears started spinning. This is where our own piece of art, Saul the Largest Sticker Ball was born. So where did stickers come in to play? During the sticker manufacturing process, we see a fair amount of extra stickers that stack up and get used for various things. They reside here in Denver, Colorado in the Santa Fe Art District and feature a free gallery open to the public. Access Gallery is the cornerstone of their work where they setup exhibits of artists with disabilities on a regular basis. The result is an awesome exhibit called Stick'Em Up Chuck.Īccess Gallery is part of the VSA Colorado which supports individuals with disabilities to be able to aspire to have careers in the arts. Because the plan and the weight aren’t the issues or the solutions they are effects, and the weight will ultimately meet them back where they are. Some people go from diet plan to diet plan, losing weight and then gaining it all back. The same set of circumstances and patterns of behavior will create the same outcome. Why? Because they didn’t address the real problem. Oddly enough, they end up with similar problems in the next relationship. People complain about their terrible marriage, so they leave it. But the human tendency is to engage in the study of effects, while giving little attention to causes. The success you have in life correlates with your level of self-worth. Whatever it is you want to change, whether it’s your marriage, financial situation, or weight, you’ll never achieve lasting change until you change. The cause of the problem is you - and this is probably one of the most sobering understandings you can reach as you work toward your stated goals. When I ask people what they want to improve in their lives, I hear things like, “I need to make more money,” or “My marriage is unhappy,” or “I need to lose weight.”īut these are simply symptoms or outcomes of the problem.
